These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Guardian 6 Protection, LLC (“Guardian 6 Protection,” “we,” “us,” “our”) website, online courses, and student learning platform (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing the Services, enrolling in a course, or creating a student account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Our courses are designed for individuals seeking Texas private security licensure. You must meet the eligibility requirements set by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) for the course you enroll in, including minimum age (18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed licensure) and any citizenship/work-authorization requirements. You are responsible for confirming your own eligibility before enrolling.
This is the most important section for your industry and should not be softened: Guardian 6 Protection provides state-required training and issues a training certificate upon successful completion of a course. Completion of our training does not itself grant, guarantee, or constitute a Texas security license. Licensure is issued solely by the Texas DPS, following its own review of your TOPS application, IdentoGO background check, and, for armed applicants, MMPI psychological evaluation. Your license also cannot be activated until it is affiliated with a licensed security company in TOPS. Guardian 6 Protection is not responsible for, and does not control, DPS’s decisions on any license application. Guardian 6 Protection does not receive or process your TOPS application, IdentoGO results, or MMPI results — those steps occur solely between you, the DPS, and its designated vendors.
Course fees are listed on our website and are processed through WooCommerce and Stripe. By enrolling, you authorize us to charge the listed fee for the course selected. Upon successful payment, you will receive access credentials to our learning management system (Moodle), where course content, progress tracking, exams, and certificates are delivered. [Client to confirm: refund/cancellation policy — e.g., no refunds once course access/exam has been started, or a specific refund window — so this section can state the actual policy.] In-person components (e.g., range and tactics instruction, Level IV training) are subject to scheduling availability in the Dallas–Fort Worth area as described on our site.
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to: share your student login credentials with others; misrepresent your identity or eligibility; attempt to complete exams or coursework fraudulently or on behalf of another person; or copy, distribute, or resell our course materials without written permission.
All course materials, curriculum, videos, study guides, website content, logos, and trademarks (including “Guardian 6 Protection” and associated marks) are the property of Guardian 6 Protection, LLC or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access course materials solely for your personal training and licensing purposes. No other use, reproduction, or distribution is permitted without our prior written consent.
Our Services rely on certain third-party platforms, including Moodle (course hosting), Stripe/WooCommerce (payment processing), and GoHighLevel/RevStream (communications). Your use of those platforms through our Services is also subject to this document, and, where applicable, those providers’ own terms.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GUARDIAN 6 PROTECTION, LLC AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND INSTRUCTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, INCLUDING ANY DENIAL, DELAY, OR REVOCATION OF A DPS LICENSE APPLICATION. [Client/attorney to confirm a liability cap amount, e.g., “our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the applicable course.”]
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. [Client/attorney to confirm preferred venue — e.g., a specific Texas county — and whether the company wants to include an arbitration clause or class-action waiver; this is a strategic legal decision best made with counsel.]
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, including your student account, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent conduct, or misused course materials.
